I was first introduced to Chris's music be my first girlfriend. Her dad had had all of the original tapes Chris sold at the early rodeos. When I think about Country music it's Mr. Ledoux ... then everyone else. I'm 40 now and Chris Ledoux is the only country music I still listen to. Everything else seems not worthy of the title. To his family... His music has meant more to me than you can know. I miss him every day.

I am so happy that for many years I had the privelege of doing photography for Country Jam here in Grand Junction. It was a greater honor getting to know Chris over the many years he played there. It was an even bigger honor having my photos on his fan club website and his memorial in Cheyenne,WY. I really miss this man. His voice, energy, sense of humor and most importantly his love for his family, wife and his love for God the father. I will see you in heaven someday Mr. LeDeoux !

I looking for a Christmas present for my dad, looking through all this stuff it makes me smile. I wanted to get him a cd but don't know which one to pick. I grew up listening to Chris's music (daddy rode the same time frame as Chris) he remembers listening to him picking and singing behind the shuts. I know almost every song he sang and now I can't pick what to get daddy for Christmas. But am a bit particular to all his older stuff. He's sorely missed, what a story teller.

Been missing you a lot lately, Chris. Heard Montgomery Gentry's "Clouds" the other day and started crying because I thought of you. Being from Philadelphia, not many people even knew who you were, but I'll never forget the first time I saw you live. I was 8 at Cheyenne Frontier Days and it changed my life forever. It's hard for me to believe we're coming up on 10 years of you being gone, but I just wanted to say thanks for everything. Every now and then when I'm feeling sad, I'll throw on one of your records and I'll feel better right away. See ya on the other side, partner.
