***CHRIS LEDOUX MEMORIAL PARK DEDICATION UPDATE***





D Michael Thonas has created an incredible bronze statue of
Chris LeDoux, riding Stormy Weather, titled, GOOD RIDE COWBOY.
You can see a few photos of this work in progress at his studio in
Buffalo, WY.on our blog page. On June 19th there  will be an unveiling
of this life size and a half bronze, in Kaycee WY. WU will be there to
honor Chris and play a little music that day, along with our friends, 
Chancey Williams, and the Younger Bros. It will be a great day to honor
an even greater man, and we hope to see you there. We'll update what's
happening as we get closer.... stay tuned!!

7:00pm Match Bronc Riding Harold Jarrard Park 
-Free to Public
-10 riders each event Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc, and Bareback 
June 19th-

10:00am Horse drawn wagon rides from parking areas (Nicki Taylor)
- KATS Busses is also available for those who cannot ride wagons
- Cash Bar Opens

1:00-3:00 pm Free Food, Beer and Videos of Chris LeDoux’s Life
- 4H Kids will have a Lemonade stand open

3:00pm Dedication Begins


4:00-6:30pm Western Underground 


7:00pm-2:00am June 20th Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers

  • You know today has been one of those days. Everything has gone wrong...then i remembered what today was, and it about knocked me over.

    If I hadn't found the music Chris Ledoux, I would have never pursued my dreams of working with horses. Missed my millions, but continues to inspire millions more. Thanks Chris...see you soon.
